ABOUT US
Acorns is proud to be the operator at the East Grinstead
Sports Club. Its mission is to promote and facilitate the best use of the
fabulous facilities at EGSC with a warm welcome for the enjoyment and benefit
of all.
The Acorns and EGSC union provides members and visitors with
a 33 acre site which hosts an array of affiliated sports clubs. These include hockey,
cricket, football, netball, squash and badminton alongside a well equipped gym,
2 studios with a class timetable, an indoor sports hall and a spacious bar and
entertainment area. Play your sport; train; relax; eat and drink; meet and
socialize.
Acorns is owned and run by Michael Hough and Mary Franck
with the support of our General Manager Jane and Finance Manager Carina and a
team of enthusiastic staff. It was set up in 2016 and until August 2022 was
based at Copthorne until a fire destroyed the building.
